CAD (computer-aided design) and CAM (computer-aided manufacturing) are used for many restorative services. These include same-day inlays/onlays and crowns.

CAD/CAM is also used in dental laboratories to manufacture crowns, bridges, implants, veneers, and ceramic braces.
Digital Imaging

Laser procedures often limit the need for anesthesia. They cause less bleeding because the laser generates blood clotting. Lasers help sterilize the treatment area, decreasing the risk of infection.
